Who is Consulting Console for?+
Boutique consulting firms that deliver client work with employees and external consultants, and independent consultants who manage their own clients or work with firms as external consultants.
Who makes Consulting Console?+
Aller Consulting, an Australian boutique consultancy. We built it to run our own client work with external consultants, and we still run on it every day.
What's the difference between Firm Free, Organisation Pro and Teams Plus?+
Firm Free covers up to 5 projects and 5 people with CSV export to Xero. Organisation Pro includes 10 internal users and unlimited projects, and adds direct Xero sync, status refresh and referral fees. Teams Plus adds free, unlimited external consultants: invites, pay-when-paid release rules, bill approval and Xero bill sync.
What if we have more than 10 staff?+
Both organisation plans include 10 internal users: owners, admins and employees. You can add more at any time. Each extra internal user is added to your subscription at the additional-user price shown on the pricing page, prorated for the rest of the billing period, and removed when you remove the user. You'll always confirm before a charge is added. External consultants on Teams Plus are free and never count.
What's the difference between Consultant Free and Consultant Pro?+
Consultant Free covers work firms invite you to plus one personal client and project. Consultant Pro adds unlimited personal clients and projects, your own Xero sync and referral fees, and it follows your email across every firm you work with.
How does pay-when-paid work?+
On Teams Plus, you choose which client invoice status releases external consultant time for billing: draft, submitted, authorised, sent or paid. External consultants can only bill you for that time once the client invoice reaches it.
Does Organisation Pro support external consultants?+
No. Organisation Pro is for firms with employees only. To invite external consultants and manage their bills, use Teams Plus, where external consultants are free and unlimited.
Does it replace Xero?+
No. Consulting Console handles time, projects, margin and billing before accounting. Invoices and bills go into Xero as drafts for your finance team to approve.
Are prices GST inclusive?+
No. Prices are in Australian dollars excluding GST. GST is added at checkout where it applies.
Can I cancel?+
Yes, any time from the billing portal in the app. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you've paid for.
Where is my data stored?+
The application runs on Google Cloud in Singapore. Our Privacy Policy and Sub-processors page list every service that handles your data and where.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes. Owners can delete a workspace from settings. Operational data is removed and a limited archive is kept for legal, tax and dispute purposes, as explained in our Data Retention & Deletion policy.
